Where have I been?

I know, I know, I haven't been blogging recently. Well, I have a pretty good excuse. See, I'm a twelve year old boy. Not really, but I do play a lot of video games. Recently (this week), my addiction has been Fallout 3 on the PS3. It's not really a girly game since I blow stuff up instead of go shopping at the mall. It's not usually my typical game style but I do like (LOVE) it.
Before Fallout I was addicted to Little Big Planet. LBP is a marioesk type of game with level game play. My favorite part was my lovely little sack girl. I don't have a pic of her but here is a picture of a sack boy I'm sure she'd swoon over.

Adorable right?!

Here are my favorite games on each system I own: (Yes, I currently have all these systems because I am awesome)

PS3
• LBP
• Kingdom hearts for the PS2
• Resident Evil for the PS

Wii
• Super Mario Galaxy or Harry Potter

Xbox360
• Bully

Nintendo
• The game that was like the Olympics on the power pad. My brother and I used to play this ALL the time. On the event when you had to run we would sit on the floor and hit the pad buttons with our hands as fast as we could. Apparently, I have always been lazy. If you can figure out what game I'm talking about I'll give you a $1.
• I could also say the Little Mermaid here.

Super Nintendo
• Mickey's Magical Quest

Nintendo 64
•DUH...Golden Eye do you really have to ask?

So I think that I have proven that I am a giant loser. Now, it's time for me to take the bus home and go play some more Fallout.

Just so you know...

shhh...it's not true though...

Twitter Friends

I don't know what this is or what it means but it is pretty and fun. I'm obviously easily amused. I like my name in the middle of a crisscross of lines and a swirl of twitter buddies.

Lovin' this week

I'm starting a new section of my blog called "Lovin' this week". I am a google reader sharing addict and because I share all my amazing items with about 5.3 people subscribed to my reader I figured I'd bring the best of the week here to show all my 19 readers. Hope you all enjoy!

Star Wars ABC cards

These are adorable alphabet cards. Who wouldn't want to bring their children up with wookies and storm troopers?!

Fuji Instax Camera

I'm a big fan of Polaroid cameras and it broke my heart last year to hear that Polaroid is going to stop making film. One of my hobbies is Polaroid transfers and I won't be able to do it anymore when I run out of film (only 4 packs left). This camera seems like an awesome alternative for all Polaroid needs.

Oui and Non necklaces

I really like these necklaces by trystbykerry ($22). I wish it was a reversible charm so I could answer questions with it.

The awkward life and times of Lovesfool

I thought I would bless everyone with a few pictures from my past. Please let me preface this by saying...I have always been awkward.
Me as a fat baby.

My brother as a ginge book reviewer.

Two of the MANY sibling portraits we have together. We HATED eachother back then.

And finally the family portrait where we look like the Addams family. Please note my father's semi-mullet.

Do you have any embarrassing photos from when you were a kid?

3 stages of crate

Every morning after pugglez has gone outside and had her breakfast she wanders around the house while I get ready.
She usually chills on the couch like this...her slut sitting position.

STAGE 1

Then when I'm ready to head out the door I say "Ok Opie it's time to go in your crate."
As soon as I say the word "crate" BAM she becomes awkward lazy dead weight.

STAGE 2

She gives me sad puppy dog eyes and tries to bargin with me.
"Mom, I don't have to go in the crate while you are at work. I'll be good promise. I puggle swear"
As soon as you reach for her to carry her to her crate she does this.

STAGE 3

This is the last and final stage of her crate routine. She gets stiff as a board and tries to repel me with her belly.

Sorry pugglez you may be cute but your fat ass belly can't stop me from putting you in your crate. EPIC PUGGLE CRATE FAIL (for her at least)

Quaker McQuakerson

I'm Quaker and I went to boarding school and this confuses TKTC.
Here are some bullet points about my like at Quaker Boarding School.

• All of the meals had vegan and vegetarian options which looked better than the meat option because 80% of the kids weren't meat eaters so they tried to please the masses.
• We harvested all our own veggies. As a freshman you have to plant potatoes. It sucked.
• On the weekend you had 3 choices.
1) Take a big white van to the movies (yeah it didn't look weird at all getting out of a big white van on a Saturday with 10 other kids)
2) Sit in your room with no internet but you could talk on you phone...fun.
3) Make-out in a classroom and "watch a movie". More kids lost their virginity in my History classroom more than I'd like to think.

• You could get expelled if you had a lighter or matches on campus. The whole main building was insulated with hay and newspaper so it could burn down in 7 min. flat.
• I used to "shike" (secret hiking after dorm parents called lights out) to my friends room down the hall to play the card game "asshole". It wasn't until I was in college that I realized asshole is a drinking game. Neat.
• I never spoke once at a Quaker meeting. I probably slept through 60% of the meetings.
• I almost got expelled for all the pranks I pulled as a senior. (more about that later)
• Quakers can't fight in wars. I can never be drafted. HOLLER
• It was very rare to have a snow day because over half the students lived one floor above the classrooms.
• When it did snow everyone would grab lunch trays from the dining room and slide down the South Lawn Hill.
• I graduated in 2004. We didn't have a typical graduation like most high schools. Girls wore white dresses. Guys wore suits. Everyone walked barefoot through the woods in a large stone amphitheater. (I sound like a hippie)

I'll share more later...

Steve Jobs

For those of that don't know...I have a huge crush on Steve Jobs. I plan to marry him someday (sorry Bryan).
Well today I got to undress him via Geek Culture.
I'm such a dork...this made my day.

Epic Snow Fail

It started snowing in Chicago last night. You know what that means...muddy pugglez and slippin' suzes.

I have a 256% chance of falling on my ass everytime it snows.

Snow + Dirt = Mud
Mud + Pugglez = Epic Puggle Fail

She's so ashamed...
