Well, I lasted 4 days on VOX. I had to stop posting on VOX because my dozens of readers, no hundreds, ok fine I mean only Ang, complained that they couldn't comment on my VOX blog.
So here I am again on my spiffey blogger. I even invested $10 into purchasing lovesfool.com!!! Yeah, I've gone beyond dork.
Here it goes again...blogging round quatre

Its been a while...
Sorry I don't post often...
1) Had my interview with Apple for the Campus Rep. job and YIPPIE I got a second interview. I impressed them with my knowledge of beta programs for Apple (thanks brandon). I have my second interview in a week or so.
2) Ben and I may have found an apt. It is in the Ukrainian Village. 2 bedrooms, patio, private garage with free parking spot, washer and dryer in unit, and tons of storage. We really like it, hopefully we get it! I posted pictures...I'm so excited to live with him.

3) Ben and I are going away next Friday to Virginia. It's my mom's birthday and mother's day so...it's time to pay her a visit. We'll be there May 11-May 14 then we are taking my car from my mom's to Pennsylvania. We are sleeping at my best friend's, Senta, house. We are going to visit my high school, go to meeting for worship, hang out with people I haven't seen in 2 years, and leave late on the 16th to drive to Ohio. We are going to see his mom and dad (2 stops they are divorced) and pick up ALL his comic books. I'm excited to see how many comics he actually has. We'll be back from the long drive around the 20th.
4) I'm working a lot more a Sittercity.com. I helped revamp our referral program for sitters with my boss and she wanted me to help at the meeting where she will present the idea to the executives and the board (too bad i'll be in VA). I really like working there. I've been there for 1 1/2 years now and the work is really challenging sometimes. I would work there full time if they offered me a job after I graduate.
5) Hold on gonna go eat a cookie
6) I have no money at all. Only $200 in all of my accounts. I would have more except all of my jobs haven't been paying me. $350 from Poor Theatre. $350 from Sittercity. JENNIFER KOPF owes me $250. I could be rich if people paid me. Dammit. I need money for food.
Grrr....finals next week. I should be studying.

Ode to thy wisdom tooth!
So...my 21st birthday is in 3 days (April 26, Thursday) and I just had to have an emergency wisdom teeth removal. This frickin sucks. This week was supposed to be awesome and so far it sucks big time.
1) The evil babysitting lady that owes me $215 for sitting for her evil child sent me another check and it bounced AGAIN. What is wrong with people? How can you be so stupid!? How can a 30+ year old woman not have $215 in her checking account?! How come it has taken her over a year to pay me and she still hasn't frickin even paid me with a real working check? I'm taking her to small claims court if this doesn't get resolved soon. Man, I hate her, and I hardly hate people, but she is definitely of those people the world could live without.
2) The emergency wisdom tooth removal. enough said.
3) I haven't gotten paid from any of my bosses. How am I supposed to go out this weekend if I don't have any money (see reason 1).
Life sucks. I hate my birthday.

Best Vacation EVER
I just got back from the most amazing vacation with Ben. Here's how it went...on friday we flew to baltimore washington airport in maryland and a limo picked us up and took us to my mom's house in alexandria, virginia. We had a great night with my mom and her boyfriend. We cooked out on the grill...good time. On saturday ben and I drove up to ocean city, maryland to spend a great weekend with my mom and her boyfriend at a beautiful beach house. It was cold in ocean city. We stayed in ocean city with my mom saturday and sunday. My mom left sunday evening but ben and I stayed an extra night in the beach house. Monday morning we left for west chester, pa. We saw my old high school, the amusement park I used to work at, and philly. We went to south street in philly monday night and ben got to go to an awesome video game store where he got a rare SNES game. Tuesday we went comic book shopping in west chester, and bummed around a while before having dinner with my old boss. Wednesday morning we were supposed to go to meeting for worship but it got pushed back to Thursday (dammit). So, wednesday we drove to ben's dad's house in gallipollise, ohio (an 8 hour drive). We saw ben's dad, ben's brother, and ben's step mom. We had a good time there. Thursday morning we drove to ben's mom's house in amelia, ohio. I love hanging out with ben's mom and papa (grandpa) they are soo fun. Ben's grandpa keeps telling us to "take care of eachother" and says "you two are good together" and he even asked me when we were getting married? whoa. LOL. We went yard sailing all day friday and I got a 1969 polariod brownie camera, a couple of mirrors, some drinking glasses, and a harry potter book. Ben made out like a bandit too.
All in all it was a great trip. Ben and I really bonded over the trip. We had a great time together and I would do it all, all over again in a heartbeat.

Suzanne+Borders=Trouble
Don't go to the grocery store hungry and NEVER go to the bookstore with an appetite to read.
I browsed the magazines for a 1/2 hour and picked up the usual (Communication Arts). Communication Arts is a $8 magazine, but Ernie Schenck's witty yet informative advertising articles make it well worth it.
So I bought Communication Arts = $8
Then I browsed the new fiction books and border employee favorites.
I bought The Feminine Mistake:Are We Giving Up Too Much? = $25 (I've heard a lot about this book in all my girly magazines. It is a must read for any woman that wants to earn a living and be a mom.)
I also bought an "I love you present" for my dad. The Zagat guide to America's Top Golf Courses 2007/2008 = $16
I bought a b-day present for my mom. The tao of Pooh = $13
I bought a very funny non-fiction book a friend recommended. The Sex Lives of Cannibals: Adrift in the Equatorial Pacific = $13
I bought Stardust. I am really excited about this one because I saw the movie trailer on apple and it looked AMAZING! Plus, Brandon says it is his sci-fi wet dream (paraphrased). Stardust = $14
Then, I had to just look at the advertising section in the art department. If you know me at all, you know that I love advertising, and I own over 75 books/magazines dedicated to advertising. I have bought almost every issue of CMYK, Luzers Archive, Communication Arts, and Applied Arts for at least 6 years. So when I go to the advertising section I am powerless. I must give into their creative cover layouts and beautiful typography. (Orgasm). I bought an amazing book I'd never seen before...Advertising is Dead Long Live Advertising! It was wrapped in plastic and the only copy so I just had to trust that it would be awesome. And boy oh boy is it. It is a collection of 200 guerilla, buzz, stealth, ambush, viral, grassroot, and ambient campaigns. Advertising is Dead Long Live Advertising! = $60
Grand total = $161.47
Going to the local Borders and spending two paychecks = priceless
BTW Everyone cross your fingers, toes, and arms for me. I find out about my Leo Burnett internship sometime before April 27. Leo Burnett is my favorite advertising agency and I have been obsessed with working for them since I was 16. They are the only agency I have ever applied to and I hope to get the internship. It is a copywriter internship for the whole summer for one person. Thousands of people apply nationwide and only one talented person will be selected to work for Leo Burnett Worldwide in Chicago. What an awesome birthday present that would be.

Shakespeare is my homeboy
I am currently reading Bill Bryson's The Mother Tongue: English and how it got that way. It is a slow read and I am only 89 pages into but I have already learned so much! Here are some random facts and quotes from the book:
"Robert Burchfield editor of the Oxford English Dictionary, announced that American English and English English are drifting apart so rapidly that within 200 years the two nations won't be able to understand each other at all."
Eskimos have fifty words for types of snow.
"This is jargon - the practice of never calling a spade a spade when you might instead call it a manual earth-restructuring implement - and it is one of the great curses of modern English."
"Children almost always learn to say no before yes and in before on, and all children go through a phase in which they become oddly fascinated with the idea of "gone" and "all gone"." Hugh anyone?
"Irish Gaelic possesses no equivalent of yes and no."
"English speakers dread silence. Studies have shown that when a pause reaches 4 seconds, one or more of the conversationalists will invariably blurt something - a fatuous comment on the weather, a startled cry of "Gosh, is that the time?" - rather than let the silence extend to a fifth second."
When you are just dropping off to sleep and you experience that sudden sensation of falling, that is called a mycologic jerk.
And finally...Shakespeare is my homeboy...he invented over 1,600 words...including critical, leapfrog, majestic, obscene, radiance, dwindle, countless, EXCELLENT, hint, lonely.
